When watching Jalen Green play, what stands out the most is his jumping ability. He gets up there and quickly. As far as his NBA role, I don’t see him as a primary ball handler type, but he has the potential to be the primary scorer. Very streaky outside shooter, but has the ability to get his shot. On defense his athleticism gives him a clear advantage, getting into passing lanes and generating fast break points. His team defense is developing and he doesn’t block as many shots as you’d expect for someone with his level of athleticism. His potential is essentially limitless due to his athleticism. The biggest question is will he win games or will be a highlight reel while putting up moderately efficient stats on high volume. If he puts it together my grade will be way too low.
