Impressive player who has the ability to be a top 10 NFL QB. He has clean throwing mechanics and above average arm strength. He is patient (sometimes to a fault) in the pocket and works his progressions. He has the size and strength to hang in there. He’s a capable scrambler when he needs to be, but is usually looking to throw the ball rather than run. He’s accurate on the move and can throw from different arm angles. He was sacked 52 times in 2023. Some of this was poor protection and some of it was on him. Escaping the pocket earlier and/or throwing the ball away to avoid some of these sacks are skills he needs to develop. That being said, this is an athletic, competitive, tough QB with all the ingredients to be a face of the franchise. Top 10 pick in 2024 with the potential to be the #1 pick in 2025 if his all around game develops.
