Ideal size (6’3 248lbs). Bonitto has a good burst off the line. His best pass rush moves are a speed rush and a swim move. Good motor will finish plays through the whistle. Seems comfortable dropping back in coverage and space. The tape shows that Bonitto struggles in a lot of other phases of the game. Outside of a few finesse pass rush moves he doesn’t possess much else. Too many times you’ll see him get stuffed by lineman doing a speed to power move or a bull rush. He doesn’t hold the edge or his point of attack in the run game. Doesn’t get off blocks as much as you’ll like. A few plays popped out with him missing tackles or being late to the ball carrier. Bonitto is being projected as a 2nd round pick but I see 5th or later talent. I see him being a rotational OLB with a small chance of being a low end starter. Special teams might be his home.
