Great Size with room to grow(6’4 208lbs). A versatile player that lined up on the outside, in the slot and even the backfield. Shows a great release at the line and excellent burst. Ran a 4.36 and shows on tape he ran by FCS corners on the regular. Not a great blocker but is willing to engage and run block. Watson need to put on weight, tape showed him getting pushed around either down field or at the line. Not a great route runner in the short to intermediate areas. Has a bit of a drops issue. Needs to continue to learn the position. 5 year senior and will be 23 before his rookie year leaves concern of his ceiling. Overall Watson should project to a WR2, but even if he doesn’t improve Watson is a capable WR3 or WR4.
