Ideal Size (6’3 235lbs) with the athleticism you want at the position. Shows good IQ for plays but can be fooled. Good tackler with instincts to dissect plays. Has the versatility to inside and outside. Better in man coverage. Seems to struggle in zone coverage identifying someone. Capable at blitzing, but doesn’t show the aggressiveness you’d want. In run support is where he struggles the most. He’s feast or famine, tape shows he can be fooled. Doesn’t use hands to disengage linemen and will let them into his body. Also, will over pursue gap assignments or running lanes. Not a clean prospect as you’d like but is LB2 due athleticism, size and ability to make plays. I see a CJ Mosley upside. Future pro bowler.
