Davis is one those those rare players who does the dirty work and has an ability to score as well. His physical profile is very similar to Malcolm Brogdon, not overly explosive but definitely meets NBA requirements. From my perspective his biggest area of improvement is ball handling. He gets to the rim against Big Ten competition and weaker, but there is usually a play or two where he loses his handle or it’s picked by the defender. I don’t see him having the same NBA role as he has now carrying an offense, but the value he adds defensively (getting into passing lanes and rebounds) will make for an above average NBA player.
