Has all the tools to be a 10+ sack player at the next level. Great size for the position (6’4) with long arms(82 7/8”). Surprisingly strong and stout against the run. Has a good first step but not a quick twitch guy. Good play recognition and seems confortable dropping into the flat coverage. Doesn’t show much bend on tape and more so has straight line speed. At this point doesn’t possess any pass rush moves other than a “speed to power” bull rush. He takes plays off and doesn’t finish until the whistle sometimes. His success will depend on coaching at the next level, Johnson could be a Pro Bowler or just a mid level starter.
