Quarterback

Somewhat under the radar on the national scene playing up in Pullman for Wazzu. Plays in the Mike Leach "Air Raid" system that can make non-prospect players put up prolific numbers. However, Falk has NFL tools/traits. Has NFL QB size at 6'4". Quick release with average arm strength, plenty to make the intermediate throws inside 35-40 yards, lacks the plus strength to drive the ball with ease on deep throws. Uses his eyes well already, moves safeties, doesn't get glued to a target, good decision maker. Plus accuracy on the short to intermediate routes, quality anticipation and timing. Handles himself well in the pocket, keeps eyes downfield and slides around pressure. Below average athleticism when he gets outside of the pocket and is forced to run. Don't see the arm strength or athleticism to be an elite NFL starter but there's enough here to be a sustained starter on a quality team. Could be a steal if he goes in the middle rounds as some are predicting.
