Good athlete for a catcher. Strong hands at the plate and behind it. Has line drive power rather than loft. Will be more of a doubles hitter with 10-15 HR. Aggressive, doesn't take many pitches or draw many walks but puts the ball in play. Big arm with good arm stroke and release. Chance to impact the game defensively. Will play in some all-star games during his career.
