The best pitcher I have ever seen. At his peak he had the best combination of stuff, pitchability and command of anyone in the game. His curveball and changeup were both the best in baseball at that time and possibly ever. His fastball would sit at 92-94 and top out at 97-98 with explosive life. He could use his 4 seamer to all quadrants of the zone and generate swings and misses. He could front door his 2 seamer back over the inside corner to left handed hitters and generate ground balls down in the zone. Very good athlete with an efficient, repeatable delivery and lightning quick arm. Extremely intelligent. His peak was relatively short but as dominant as anyone in the history of the baseball.
